What is ACE CREDIT?

The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) is a recognized authority in assessing non-traditional education experiences and helping adults gain credit for courses and exams taken outside traditional degree programs. These college credit recommendations can potentially be accepted by more than 2,000 colleges and universities in the US, opening the possibility for students who enroll at one of these institutions to transfer credit into their degree programs. An ACE CREDIT recommendation is not college credit from one of our partner Universities, nor Coursera itself.

You can earn an ACE CREDIT college credit recommendation by signing up for an eligible course in the Signature Track and then taking an online proctored Credit Exam at the end of the course. There is a cost for the Signature Track and Credit Exam.

You should refer to the College Credit Recommendation Guidebook to learn more find courses that have been approved for ACE CREDIT college credit recommendations.
